FREE LESSONS
We have an FREE introductory period, so that you and/or your child can decide if Tae Kwon-Do is the right thing for you before you spend any money.

Unlike some Martial Arts Schools we have no contracts or "Lock In" periods and our monthly fees are paid by standing order so you are in complete control of your training.
THE TAE KWON-DO ASSOCIATION OF GREAT BRITAIN
As the largest martial arts organisation in the world the TAGB has over 25,000 accredited members, 600 schools, and organises seminars with World Masters, demonstrations, and national, regional and international championships every month of the year.

The Tae Kwon-Do Association of Great Britain (TAGB) is a nationally recognised Tae Kwon-Do organisation and was formed in 1983.
It has since become the founding member of the British Tae Kwon-Do Council (BTC) which was formed in 1988 and is the only martial arts association recognised by the United Kingdom Sports Council.

WHAT IS TAE KWON-DO
Tae Kwon-Do is derived from several Korean Martial Arts, with the main influence being Tae-Kyon Korean kick fighting.
Tae means "to kick" or "smash with the feet"; Kwon means "to intercept" or "strike with the hands"; and do means "the way or the art".
​
Tae Kwon-Do was originally developed in Korea in the 1950's, when a group of leading martial arts experts came together to unify their respective disciplines under a single fighting system. The inauguration took place in South Korea on April 11th 1955, with Major-General Choi Hong Hi, 9th degree black belt, being credited as the founder.
